The working principle of the halogen moisture analyzer is based on the thermogravimetric method.
The main process is as follows:
1, the sample to be tested is placed in the heating chamber of the analyzer.
2, the sample is rapidly and uniformly heated by the internal halogen heating lamp.
During the heating process, the moisture in the sample gradually evaporates.
The instrument accurately measures the mass change of the sample before and after heating.Based on the ratio of the mass loss to the initial sample mass, the moisture content in the sample is calculated.For example, suppose the initial sample mass is 100 grams and the mass decreases by 20 grams after heating. Then the moisture content is 20 ÷ 100 × 100% = 20%.
Compared with traditional heating methods, the halogen heating lamp has the advantages of rapid heating, uniform heating, and high drying efficiency, and can accurately determine the moisture content of the sample in a short time.
