Product Description
Piperazine Pyrophosphate HF-T300 Flame Retardant
HF-T300 is an intumescent halogen-free environmentally friendly flame retardant that utilizes phosphorus and nitrogen elements to form an expanded carbon layer, effectively blocking oxygen and fire sources. This advanced flame retardant system offers superior performance with low smoke and low toxicity characteristics compared to traditional halogen-based alternatives.
Regulatory Compliance & Certifications
Fully compliant with EU RoHS Directive 2002/95/EC and REACH regulations, ensuring environmental safety and regulatory adherence for global markets.
Technical Advantages
  • High thermal decomposition temperature exceeding 220°C processing capability
  • Excellent flame retardant efficiency with lower additive content requirements
  • Superior heat aging resistance and precipitation resistance
  • High purity with excellent processing performance
  • Easy cutting with no bridging issues
  • Good product appearance without white spot agglomeration
Application Range
Suitable for various thermoplastic resins including PP, fiber-added PP, PE, TPE, and TPU. Compatible with multiple processing methods such as injection molding, extrusion, and molding. Can be used in combination with other phosphorus-nitrogen flame retardants for enhanced performance.

Processing Guidelines
Temperature Control: Maintain processing temperature below 220°C during twin-screw blending and granulation to prevent flame retardant decomposition. Use medium-strength screw combinations and maintain vacuum during processing.
For non-fiber-added systems, screens can be added during extrusion, but mesh number should not be too high. Certain substances may adversely affect flame retardancy: calcium carbonate significantly impacts performance; talc, barium sulfate, and wollastonite require increased flame retardant dosage; carbon black exceeding 0.5% or black masterbatch exceeding 1% reduces effectiveness; additives containing Br and Cl may cause flame retardant failure.
