Processing Guidelines
For optimal performance, maintain processing temperatures below 220°C during twin-screw blending and granulation. Use medium-strength screw combinations and maintain vacuum during processing. For non-fiber systems, screens can be added during extrusion, but mesh numbers should not be too high.
Compatibility Considerations
Important: Certain substances may affect flame retardant performance. Calcium carbonate severely impacts effectiveness, while talc, barium sulfate, and wollastonite require increased flame retardant amounts. Carbon black exceeding 0.5% or black masterbatch exceeding 1% reduces flame retardant effect. Avoid additives or toners containing Br and Cl elements.
