The Gongyi UT Machinery briquetting presses machine are able to compact materials like wood shavings, sawdust, wood chips, dust and other residual materials into stable, cylindrical briquettes. Compared to loose material, the initial volume will be reduced by up to 90%.No chemical binder for making the wood briquette rods.
There are several methods available for densifying biomass. Screw press briquetting is a popular densification method. This process can produce denser and stronger biomass briquettes compared with piston presses. After feeding into the hopper, the raw material is conveyed and compressed by piston press worm in biomass briquetting.
By changing individual parameters, the briquetting presses can be adapted to customer materials, required throughput performances and individual conditions. It’s possible to choose from various cylinder sizes, drive engine variants and silo shapes. The filling of the briquetting press can take place manually or automatically.

Some characteristics have to be checked for all type of raw materials prior to considering briquetting.
Biomass briquette making machines are used to make briquettes from biomass wastes. The finished briquettes are hollow. In general, the outer diameters of the finished briquettes range from 50-80mm. Besides, the shape of the finished briquettes can be varied through changing different mould.
A further advantage based on briquetting is the reduction in the danger of fires and explosions. Because of the fact that briquettes are considered as low-flammable like solid wood there aren’t any additional costs for complex fire protection regulations.
Ÿ Particle size
Generally the max particle size is 20x5x3 mm in order to avoid feeding problems for the briquette press.
Ÿ Moisture content
As the optimum moisture content for briquetting purposes varies with the raw material, we know from experience that the recommended water content is from min. 6% to max. 16%.
From 16% and higher quality will deteriorate considerably until briquetting becomes hard.
Ÿ Wood waste Material
Most wood waste is suitable for briquetting depending on its content of lignin as well as the moisture content and particle size etc.

The whole charcoal production line mainly includes four needed machines: crusher, dryer, briquette making machine.
The whole system consists of fan blower, motor engine, fuel boiler, steel pipe, cyclone and air lock. In this sawdust dryer
machine system, wet material is input into hopper by screw feeder. Fuel furnace produces large volume of hot air. The hot air is driven into steel pipes, mixed with wet sawdust and moved through curving pipes and drying chamber by the power of fan blower. Fast moving hot air sustains and is mixed with raw material sent by spiral feeder in the suspending state through the steel pipe; moisture evaporates as the material traverses along the steel pipe and is rendered dry at the discharge end. Humid air is continuously exhausted, thus the material is dried.
Briquetting is a process during which raw materials are compressed under high pressure and high temperature. After the processing of drying and pressing, the briquette is characterized by high density, small in size, better combustion, capable as the substitute for the superior coal or firewood.
