API Mud Pump Valve Types
Valve assemblies are categorized based on valve seat inner hole configuration: through hole valve, three-rib valve, and four-rib valve.
Both valve body and valve seat undergo carburizing and quenching processes using premium bonded steel 20CrMnTi, achieving surface hardness greater than HRC60. Conical surfaces are precision-ground to ensure superior roughness requirements and exact geometric dimensions.
Four-rib valve bodies are manufactured from high-quality forged steel, providing exceptional strength and hardness. The rubber component is securely fixed to the valve body using a valve nut. These valve seats offer high strength and impact resistance, making them ideal for high-pressure jet drilling applications.
Three-rib valve body seats provide larger displacement compared to four-rib versions and are available as pre-assembled valve body and rubber units with extended service life.
