Heat both the rod head and female head simultaneously in the hot melter. Once reaching optimal temperature, insert the repair rod into the female head for additional heating. Then insert the rod head into the damaged pipe, remove it, and insert the heated repair rod into the broken hole. Trim excess material with scissors.
