1. Position cutting knife frame and chamferer; lower die head to contact copying block. Start machine after secure positioning.
2. Rotate pipe counter-clockwise while operating cutting feed hand wheel to advance die head.
3. Apply pressure to cutting feed hand wheel until 3-4 threads are formed on pipe.
4. Release hand wheel for automatic threading. Die head opens automatically when roller passes copying block.
5. Stop machine, return carriage, and remove die head from pipe end.
