Select appropriate pinch roller and knurl wheel for the pipe diameter and install them on the machine. Position the pipe on the knurl wheel and pipe stands, adjusting height to maintain a 1-degree downward slope. Set groove depth using the limit nut system (2.5mm per rotation), then operate the hydraulic pump to begin grooving. Complete the process with additional rotations for finishing and verify groove depth with measuring tape.
