QC/T29096-92 "Automobile steering gear assembly bench test method" stipulated the automobile power steering gear test method of automobile power steering gear. Steering gear test mainly includes performance test and reliability test, of which the performance test is mainly to verify the basic performance of the steering gear is good or bad, reliability test is mainly to verify the fatigue performance of the steering gear after a period of use.
Steering gear performance test includes steering gear number, no-load torque, free clearance, function test, steering force characteristics, internal leakage, external leakage, steering ability and steering gear sensitivity. Steering gear reliability test mainly includes fatigue test, wear test, forced steering test, reverse overload test and overpressure test.
