Production Process Overview
- Fresh produce (fruits, vegetables, meat, or fish) is harvested at peak quality and transported to the canning facility
- Produce is washed, prepared (peeled, trimmed, cored, sliced), and packed into cans on a conveyor system
- Liquid (brine, water, oil, syrup, or juice) is added to fill the can
- Lids are sealed and tested for airtight integrity
- Cans are cooked in specialized cookers at precise temperatures and pressures to eliminate microorganisms
