SC TYPE
SC type oil seal, also known as spring-loaded single-lip seal, is mainly composed of rubber body, steel skeleton and clamping spring. The rubber body has elasticity and sealing performance, and is the core part to realize the seal; the steel skeleton is used to support the rubber body and enhance the rigidity and installation stability of the oil seal; the spring helps to keep the sealing lip compressed against the shaft under changing pressure conditions to ensure the sealing efficiency.
Material Selection
Main material: generally made of Nitrile Rubber (NBR) or Fluorine Rubber (FKM).
