Summary:

Aluminum oxide hollow sphere is a new type of high-temperature insulation material, which is made by melting and blowing industrial aluminum oxide in an electric furnace, with a crystal form of a-Al₂O₃ microcrystals. Using alumina hollow spheres as the main body, various shapes of products can be made, with high mechanical strength, several times that of general lightweight products, and a bulk density only half of that of corundum products.

Product features:

• 1.The volume density is lower, with traditional 99% alumina hollow sphere bricks having a volume density of at least 1.5g/cm³. Compared to traditional products, it can fully reduce the weight of the furnace body, save materials, energy, and costs;
• 2.Better thermal shock stability;
• 3.The thermal conductivity coefficient is extremely low, only 30% of traditional products, with a traditional bulk density of 1.5g/cm3 and Al2O3≥99%. The thermal conductivity coefficient of the alumina hollow sphere brick at 400 ℃ is 0.78W/(m · K), while the thermal conductivity coefficient of this product at 400 ℃ is 0.26W/(m · K). Its insulation effect is three times that of traditional products. The same furnace layer thickness can lower the cold surface temperature, save energy, or make the insulation layer thinner;
• 4.It can be directly used in the working layer of the kiln and has strong resistance to the corrosion of hydrogen fluoride in the kiln for calcining anode materials;
