Product Description
This series contains lead and cadmium, very good acid & alkali resist, suitable for glass tableware, wine bottles, milk bottles etc.
Firing conditions: 580 - 630oC, 1.5 hours cold to cold, 10minutes soaking time.
For tempering glass: 680 - 730oC.
The best firing cycle depends on types of the glass and kilns.
Chemical Durability:
Acid resistance
No visible colour change after immersion in a 10% Hydrochloric acid (HCl) at 20±2℃ for 15 minutes.
No visible colour change after immersion in a 10% citric acid at 20±2℃ for 15 minutes.
Alkali resistance
No visible colour change after immersion in a 9.1% NaOH at 88±1℃ for 4 hours.
