Discharging Instructions
Avoid Over-Discharging
Do not discharge the battery below its recommended minimum voltage. For Li-Po batteries, the cut-off voltage per cell is usually around 3.0V to 3.2V. If the battery voltage drops below this level, it can cause irreversible damage to the battery cells and reduce the battery's overall lifespan.
Use a battery voltage checker or a flight controller with a built-in battery voltage monitor to keep track of the battery's voltage during use. When the voltage approaches the cut-off level, land the drone immediately.
Optimal Usage Guidelines
  • Discharge at a Reasonable Rate: While Li-Po batteries can handle high-discharge rates, avoid consistently discharging at the maximum rate to prevent heat generation and cell stress.
  • Allow for Cooling Periods: After heavy discharge, let the battery cool down before next use or charging. Rest in a cool, well-ventilated area until reaching normal temperature.
