Armored fiber optic cable are designed for being used indoor/outdoor environments, in which the traditional standard fiber optic patch lead can not perform structurally to the requirement. Its structure contains stainless steel armor inside the jacket, which will help make it resistant of high tension and pressure. The stainless steel tube prevents optic fiber from damage that improves stability of the system. It contains 6 tight-buffered fiber bundled under the same jacket with spiral steel tube as strength members to stiffen the cable and prevent kinking.Its durable design allows it to withstand installations and operations..

It is widely used for data centers or Central Office applications point to point connections. The strands are color coded for easy identification and installation.
