Color-coated coils are products made of hot-dip galvanized sheet, hot-dip aluminum-zinc sheet, electro-galvanized sheet, etc. as substrates. After surface pretreatment (chemical degreasing and chemical conversion treatment), one or several layers of organic coatings are applied on the surface, and then baked and cured. It is named after the colored steel coils coated with various colors of organic coatings, and is referred to as color-coated coils.
- Uses of color-coated coils
Color-coated coils are light, beautiful, and have good corrosion resistance. They can also be directly processed. The colors are generally divided into gray, sea blue, and brick red. They are mainly used in advertising, construction, home appliance, electrical appliance, furniture, and transportation.
The coating used for color-coated coils selects appropriate resins according to different use environments, such as polyester silicon-modified polyester, polyvinyl chloride plastisol, polyvinylidene chloride, etc. Users can choose according to the purpose.

2/1: The upper surface is coated twice, the lower surface is coated once, and baked twice.
2/1M: The upper and lower surfaces are coated twice each, and baked once.
2/2: The upper and lower surfaces are coated twice each, and baked twice.
- Uses of different coating structures
2/1: The corrosion resistance and scratch resistance of the single-layer back paint are poor, but it has good adhesion and is mainly used in sandwich panels;
2/1M: The corrosion resistance, scratch resistance and processing formability of the back paint are good, and it has good adhesion and is suitable for single-layer profiled panels and sandwich panels.
2/2: The corrosion resistance, scratch resistance and processing formability of the double-layer back paint are good, and most of them are used for single-layer profiled panels, but its adhesion is poor and it is not suitable for sandwich panels.
