431 belongs to American standard martensitic stainless steel, the implementation standard: ASTM A276/A276M-2017 The metallographic structure of 431 is "Martensitic", so it will be magnetized. 431 series is a kind of martensitic stainless steel with a good combination of strength and toughness. It has good corrosion resistance to aqueous solutions of oxidizing acids, most organic acids and organic salts. It is generally suitable for the production of nitric acid, acetic acid, light industry, textile and other industries that require both toughness and corrosion resistance of shafts, piston rods, pumps and other parts.
