Weld concentric reducers, as their name suggests, feature a conical shape that tapers to a smaller diameter at one end, forming a seamless transition. These reducers are commonly used in vertical flow applications or, when placed horizontally, as increasers. However, we advise against using concentric reducers in horizontal setups, as they can lead to pooling. In such scenarios, eccentric reducers, which have one flat side, are a better choice to prevent fluid accumulation. Unlike end cap reducers, concentric reducers minimize agitation, ensuring smoother flow transitions. Their design makes them ideal for vertical systems, offering efficient and reliable performance in fluid management applications.
