The 454 cylinder head is designed for 396-502 cid bulk Chevrolet engines, including heavy-duty exhaust valves, which provide the extra durability required for marine applications, and has an integrated stainless steel intake valve with hardened tips and swirl polish head. Both the oval and rectangular terminal heads are hard anodized to protect the aluminum in the harsh marine environment. NO CORE OR EXCHANGE REQUIRED, THESE ARE BRAND NEW! Gaskets sold separately. New head bolts should be used as they are stretch to torque style and not designed to be re-used. They are sold separately in this category.
