Lost foam casting is a process where a mold made of foam material is surrounded by dry sand and then molten metal is poured into it. The foam mold vaporizes under the high temperature of the metal, resulting in a metal casting that matches the shape of the original mold. The main advantages of this process include the ability to cast complex shapes, reduced need for subsequent machining, higher material utilization, and an environmentally friendly process with minimal waste.
We use the lost foam casting process to produce various valve body castings. Lost foam castings can meet the demands of mass production, and the cost of lost foam casting is lower than that of investment casting, reducing the production cost of valve body castings. Additionally, valve castings produced by the lost foam process meet the required standards for both external appearance and internal quality.
