Working principle of drilling rig
The working principle of a drilling rig is to use a drill rod to drive the drill bit to rotate, thereby increasing the depth of the borehole or wellbore in the formation, and at the same time flushing the generated rock debris out of the hole through the flushing fluid. Generally speaking, there are three drilling methods for drilling rigs: rotary drilling, vibration drilling, and rotary vibration composite drilling. During drilling, the drilling rig has functions such as continuously removing drilling debris, lubricating and cooling, bearing corresponding pressure, and providing certain power. Its main components include: drill rod, drill bit, drill rod chuck, drill string, rotary table, drilling pump, drilling fluid system, control system, etc. These components operate and work together to complete the drilling of the formation.
