High Reflectivity FBG Filters for OTDR Testing
1550nm FBG Reflector
FBG Reflectors (1550nm), also known as FBG filters, are installed at the front end of optical network ONUs. When combined with OTDR equipment, they enable point-to-point (PTP) or point-to-multipoint (PTMP) network monitoring of optical links, providing accurate and rapid detection of network anomalies.
1650nm FBG Reflector
Utilizing the wavelength-selective properties of Fiber Bragg Grating, the 1650nm FBG Reflector is embedded in adapters for easy installation at optical network front ends. It cooperates with Optical Time Domain Reflectors (OTDR) to quickly and accurately detect optical network faults.

FBG Reflector Technical Features
Non-Interference Communication
FBG reflectors create high reflectivity at PON ends without affecting communication. They reflect nearly 100% of test light pulses from OTDR equipment while allowing other wavelengths to pass through with minimal attenuation.
High Stability and Reliability
Using light sensitivity of fiber material, fiber gratings are written directly onto fiber cores. The grating area is partially encapsulated inside ceramic ferrules, ensuring protection during insertion/removal and immunity to dirt contamination.
Easy Connectivity
Available in SC and LC types, fiber optic reflectors interact with regular adapters for convenient installation and use.
