This compact solution multiplexes or demultiplexes optical signals across six channels, reducing fiber infrastructure requirements while ensuring reliable data transfer.
This unit combines multiplexer (MUX) and demultiplexer (DEMUX) functionality into a single device for bidirectional data transmission over one fiber strand. Simplex BIDI transmission requires paired units with opposite wavelength configurations.
Utilizing passive Thin Film Filter (TFF) technology, this CWDM Mux/Demux supports any protocol at specific wavelengths, including T1 over fiber at 1570nm alongside 10Gbps Ethernet at 1590nm. This ensures long-term infrastructure future-proofing regardless of network speed or protocol deployment.
