Among them, die casting is a common process, which uses high pressure to fill the mold with molten metal, and then obtains the required parts through cooling and demolding. Gravity casting uses the principle of free fall to inject molten metal into the mold and achieve the casting purpose through solidification.
Casting process
Sand casting Scope of application: the most commonly used casting method. Manual molding is suitable for single pieces, small batches and large castings with complex shapes that are difficult to use molding machines. Machine molding is suitable for medium and small castings produced in batches.
Process characteristics: Manual molding: flexible and easy, but low production efficiency, high labor intensity, low dimensional accuracy and surface quality. Machine molding: high dimensional accuracy and surface quality, but large investment.
