Aluminum tubes are lighter than seamless steel tubes, and are corrosion-resistant and not easily oxidized. They also have good formability and can be molded into special-shaped aluminum tubes. Compared with seamless steel tubes, aluminum tubes have only one disadvantage, which is that their strength is not as high as that of seamless steel tubes.
Aluminum tubes are too soft without artificial aging, which is suitable for sheet metal bending. Many machines and equipment need to install accessories such as elbows. Seamless steel tubes cannot be bent, and plastic hose parts are not corrosion-resistant, so aluminum tubes become an excellent choice. If the strength does not meet the requirements, it can be hardened after sheet metal bending.
Another advantage of aluminum tubes is that they can be welded. The composition of aluminum tubes is generally 6 series aluminum alloy profiles. The welding properties of 6 series aluminum alloy profiles are excellent, which is particularly suitable for different assembly tools.
