The inverted bucket steam trap works on the principle of buoyancy + lever:

• When condensate enters the valve body, the inverted bucket sinks, and the drain port is opened to drain
• When steam enters, the inverted bucket floats due to the low steam density, closes the drain port, and prevents steam leakage
• Efficiently removes condensate, reduces steam waste, and maintains the thermal efficiency of the system

• Top valve cover with multiple bolts for easy maintenance
• Middle valve body accommodates the inverted bucket and other core components
• Side interface for pipe connection (threaded or flanged)
• Bottom small valve for manual drainage or repair

Compared with float type and thermal power steam traps, the advantages of the inverted bucket type are:

• Strong water hammer resistance (stable inverted bucket structure)
• Air can be discharged (avoid system air blockage)
• Sensitive to installation angle (must be installed vertically for proper inverted bucket movement)
