Product Description

80km Private Emergency Radio Communication VHF Adhoc Network

Introduction

BL8 can be quickly placed in challenging environments without any infrastructure. When emergency event happens, 4G/5G network is overload or not available, the MANET radios base station can be rapidly deployed within minutes to set up a stable, self-forming and self-healing push-to-talk voice communication network.

BL8 can be used for both temporary and permanent application. With the big power solar panels and battery inside, it can 24h continuous working.

One unit BL8 placed on a top of mountain, which can cover 70km-80km radius.

Features

Unlimited Quantity of Terminals

● Users can access different types IWAVE manet radio terminals as many as the need. There is no quantity limited.

Working In -40℃~+70℃ Environment

● The BL8 base station comes with a 4cm thick high density foam insulation box that is heat-insulating and freeze-proof, which not only solves the problem of high temperature and sun exposure, but also ensures the normal operation of BL8 in an environment of -40℃to +70℃.

Solar Powered in Harsh Environment

● In addition to 2pcs 150Watts solar panels, the BL8 system also comes with two pcs 100Ah lead-acid batteries.

● Solar panel power supply + dual battery pack + intelligent power control + ultra-low power transceiver. In the extremely harsh winter freezing conditions, even the solar panels stop generating electricity, BL8 can still ensure the normal operation of emergency communications through the winter.

Vhf and UHF for Options

● IWAVE offers VHF 136-174MHz, UHF1: 350-390MHz and UHF2: 400-470MHz for option.

Precise Positioning

● BL8 solar powered radio manet base station supports GPS and Beidou with horizontal accuracy <5m. Head officers can track everyone's positions and stay in the know to make better decisions.

Rapid Installation

● When disaster hanppens, power, cellular network, fiber cable or other fixed infrastructure equipments are not available, first responders can place the BL8 base station any where to setup a radio network immediately to replacethe DMR/LMR radios or other traditional radio system.

● IWAVE offers full kit including base station, antenna, solar panel, battery, bracket, high density foam insulation box, which enable the first responders quickly begin the installation work.
