Top drive is a key components combing the function of swivel and kellly drilling system,in contrast to kelly and rotary table drilling system, which drives the drill string from the top end . Function

The faucet flushing packing system reduces the effective differential pressure by providing pressurized lubricant to the low pressure side of the seal to increase seal life. The pressure of the high-pressure lubricating oil is predetermined according to the proportion of the mud. The value is between the mud pressure and the atmospheric pressure. Usually, each sealing ring is subjected to the same pressure difference. The pressure of the lubricating oil is generally lower than the mud pressure, preventing the lubricating oil from excessive pressure and leaking.
