Custom Vertical Horizontal Flame Test Chamber Combustion Testing Equipment
The UL94 horizontal vertical flame chamber machine is a testing equipment used to evaluate the flammability of materials used in electrical and electronic devices. It is designed to simulate the conditions of a small flame ignition source that may occur in these devices.
The machine consists of a combustion chamber with a burner at the bottom, a specimen holder, and a control panel. The specimen holder can be adjusted to hold the test material in a horizontal or vertical position, depending on the orientation of the material in the device being tested.During the test, the specimen is exposed to a controlled flame for a specified period of time. The flame is then removed, and the specimen is observed for any signs of ignition or flame spread. The test is repeated several times with different specimens to determine the material's flammability rating.
