The Bently Nevada 990-05-70-01-CN is a vibration transmitter designed for industrial machinery monitoring, particularly for centrifugal air compressors, small pumps, motors, and fans. It operates on a two-wire loop-powered system, accepting input signals from 3300 NSv proximity probes with matched extension cables (5m or 7m system length options) and converting them into a 4–20 mA proportional output for machine protection, alarms, and control logic.

Key features include an integrated Proximitor sensor (eliminating the need for external conditioning), non-isolated "PROX OUT" and "COM" terminals for dynamic vibration and gap voltage diagnostics, and non-interactive zero/span adjustments for easy calibration. The device is sealed for high-humidity environments (up to 100% condensation) and supports DIN rail or panel mounting. With a standard range of 0–5 mils (0–125 μm), it is ideal for OEM applications requiring precise vibration monitoring.
