DPR and DPZ type boiler feed pumps are horizontal multi-stage balanced centrifugal pumps designed for demanding industrial applications. Featuring vertical suction and discharge ports, these pumps offer exceptional performance and reliability in boiler feedwater systems and irrigation applications.
Technical Design & Construction
Pump Structure
The pump consists of suction section, middle sections, discharge section, and secondary suction section connected into one body by tightening bolts. Head adjustment is achieved by increasing or decreasing the number of pump stages.
Rotor Assembly
- Composed of first-stage impeller, impellers, throttle bushings, back-impellers, and shaft sleeves
- "One-end fixed, one-end floating" grease-lubricated bearing structure
- Cylindrical roller bearing at driving end
- Pair of angular contact ball bearings at non-driving end to handle residual axial force
Sealing Systems
- Section sealing achieved with sealant between pump components
- Sealing rings and diffuser sealing rings for rotor-to-fixed part sealing
- Two shaft seal options: packing seals and mechanical seals
