ASTM A182 F22 Blind RF Flange


ASTM A182 F22 Blind RF Flange is ideal for high temperature and high pressure systems. Its chromium-molybdenum alloy composition provides excellent resistance to oxidation and creep.

Chromium-molybdenum alloy steel (UNS K21590) is suitable for high temperature and high pressure environments (such as power plant boilers and petrochemical equipment).

Blind flanges are used to close the end of the pipe to prevent the flow of media. They are commonly used in system isolation or future expansion interfaces.
Raised face flanges are used with gaskets (such as spiral wound gaskets) to achieve sealing. The raised face height is usually 1/16 inch (150-300 Class) or 1/4 inch (600-2500 Class).
