ASME SA182 F304 Heat Exchange Flange Stainless Steel Flanges Suitable For Medium To High Temperature
ASME SA182 F304 Heat Exchange Flange Stainless Steel Flanges Suitable For Medium To High Temperature
ASME SA182 F304 Heat Flange refers to a flange conforming to ASME forging standards, made of 304 stainless steel, and suitable for medium to high temperature applications.
For F304, the recommended continuous operating temperature is approximately 815°C. For applications involving superheated steam or other high-temperature conditions, F304H, with its higher carbon content and better high-temperature strength, may be used if necessary.
Bolt selection compatible with ASME SA182 F304 Heat Flange: High-temperature bolts must be used. Ordinary carbon steel bolts, such as SA193 B7 or SA193 B8M Class 2, are strictly prohibited. Class 2 bolts are strain-strengthened and have higher high-temperature yield strength.
If a flange is required in a large heat exchanger with extremely stringent requirements, a specialized flange must be selected; ordinary flanges cannot be used as substitutes.
