Reference Drawings: For general assembly and design data.

Orientation: All bolt holes must straddle the normal center lines of the vessel.

Units: All dimensions are in mm unless otherwise specified.

Gasket Surfaces: All R.F. (Raised Face) gasket contact surfaces shall comply with ASME B16.5.

Edges: All accessible sharp corners and inside edges of nozzles/connections must be rounded to a smooth radius (minimum 3mm for nozzle interiors).

Inspection & NDT (Non-Destructive Testing)

Radiographic Examination (RT): * 100% RT for all pressure butt-welds

Ultrasonic Examination (UT): All pressure-retaining butt welds and nozzle attachments shall be fully examined per ASME Sec. VIII, Div. 1 (UW53 & Appendix 12).
- Magnetic Particle Examination (MT): * Required for all welded joints of low alloy steel and lifting lugs per App. 6 of ASME Sec. VIII Div. 1
Hydrostatic Test

Medium: Clean potable water

Duration: Maintain test pressure for at least one hour per 25mm of total nominal shell thickness.

Sequence: No painting is permitted before the hydrotest, leak test, and weld inspections are approved.

Post-Test: Equipment must be cleaned thoroughly to remove scales and foreign materials.
