Product Description
Magnetostrictive linear position sensors in rod design with certificate MTTF and MTTFD / B10d according to standard EN ISO 13849-1:2015 and SN29500.
Certification Details
We calculate the MTTF value of our electronic products according to the parts count process as per EN ISO 13849-1 Appendix C.5. The procedure specified in EN ISO 13849-1 Appendix C.5.1 is used to assess dangerous failures: MTTFD = MTTF x 2. 8760 operating hours per year are assumed here. For our electromechanical sensors, we specify the B10d value derived from the results of fatigue testing.
DNV GL Certification
Products marked with DNV GL certification have been type-tested according to DNV GL guidelines. The type approval is certified with a certificate (www.balluff.com). The marked products can be used in type-test-required systems on sea and inland vessels and in the offshore sector according to the specifications of the certificate.
