1x2 TFF Filter PM Fiber Coupler 50/50 1310nm Polarization Maintaining Splitter Low Insertion Loss
1x2 TFF Filter PM Fiber Coupler 50 50 1310nm Polarization Maintaining Splitter Low Insertion Loss For EDFA Coherent Communication And Power Monitoring
This product is a 1*2 TFF Filter PM Fiber Coupler 50/50 (1*2 Filtered Polarization-Maintaining Fiber Standard Coupler), operating wavelength 1310nm, bandwidth ±40nm. It employs a thin-film filter (TFF) structure and Corning panda-type polarization-maintaining fiber to achieve two 50/50 outputs while maintaining polarization characteristics of one input light.
- Low Insertion Loss, Budget-Friendly for Links
Within the 1310nm±40nm range, the maximum insertion loss for 50/50 splitting is ≤3.8dB. Clear upper limits for insertion loss are also given for different splitting ratios such as 20/80, 10/90, 5/95, and 1/99 (e.g., ≤8.2/1.7dB for 20/80, ≤22.2/0.6dB for 1/99), facilitating link power budgeting and solution selection.
- High Extinction Ratio, Excellent Polarization Performance
The coupler extinction ratio is ≥20dB. It uses Corning Panda polarization-maintaining fiber. The specifications state that PM fiber and connector key alignment is on the slow axis, supporting dual-axis operation. This allows it to maintain polarization in the classic "slow axis operation" mode while also meeting the needs of some dual-polarization applications.
- High return loss and high directivity, suppressing reflections and crosstalk
Return loss ≥50dB, directivity ≥50dB, effectively reducing the impact of end-face reflections and port-to-port crosstalk on lasers, amplifiers, or high-sensitivity detectors, improving system stability and signal quality.
- Good power and environmental adaptability
Maximum power handling capacity ≤500mW, operating temperature -10~+65℃, storage temperature -40~+85℃, allowing for long-term stable operation in computer rooms, laboratories, and most engineering environments.
- Multiple Splitting Ratios and Structures Available to Meet Diverse Applications
In addition to 50/50, the specification sheet provides insertion loss parameters for various splitting ratios, including 20/80, 10/90, 5/95, and 1/99. Customers can flexibly configure these according to their "main link + monitoring/extraction" requirements. Bare fiber, 0.9mm tube, 2.0/3.0mm sheath, and different packaging options are also available, reducing the difficulty of secondary development.
