These MTP®/MPO Trunk Cables are backbone fiber cable assemblies designed for high-density data center cabling and parallel optical transmission systems. They are primarily used to facilitate rapid interconnection between distribution areas, module cassettes, switching equipment, and backbone links. The typical structure of an MTP/MPO trunk cable features MTP/MPO multi-fiber connectors at both ends, enabling the transmission of a greater number of fiber channels within a smaller physical footprint—thereby enhancing cabling density and simplifying the installation process.
