Calazime Skin Protectant Paste With Zinc And Oxide Ointment For Shingles
Product Description
Zinc Oxide (ZnO, CAS:1314-13-2) is an inorganic oxide presented as a white fine powder. We offer multiple grades including indirect-process ZnO, direct-process ZnO, active zinc oxide and nano zinc oxide. Boasting high purity, low heavy metal content and consistent quality across batches, our products have broad applications in rubber vulcanization activation, coating pigments, ceramic glazes, feed additives, and cosmetic sun care formulations. Custom particle size and heavy metal specification control are available. We also support sample testing and OEM packaging services.

Application
- Rubber industry: Acts as vulcanization activator to boost tensile strength, wear resistance and anti-aging performance. Widely used in tires, hoses and sealing strips.
- Coatings & paint: Functions as white pigment, delivering anti-rust and UV shielding effects.
- Ceramic & glass: Serves as glaze flux to improve surface gloss.
- Feed industry: Zinc nutritional supplement for feed formulations.
- Cosmetic & Personal Care: Works as physical UV filter and mild astringent ingredient for skin care preparations.
- Plastic industry: Light stabilizer and antibacterial modifier.
- Others: Desulfurizing agent and electronic raw material.
Technology
Main technologies: indirect (French) process, direct (American) process, wet process and nano synthesis.
- Indirect process: Produced via vaporization and oxidation of metallic zinc, featuring high purity and low impurity levels.
- Direct process: Manufactured through high-temperature oxidation of zinc ore or slag, offering excellent cost performance.
- Active ZnO: Made by specialized calcination, with larger specific surface area.
- Nano ZnO: Synthesized by liquid precipitation, delivers ultra-fine particles and outstanding UV shielding and antibacterial properties.
Theory
Zinc oxide is ionic oxide with wurtzite crystal structure.
- Rubber vulcanization: ZnO reacts with stearic acid to form zinc soap, activate sulfur cross-linking and build stable 3D rubber network.
- UV shielding: high refractive index to reflect & absorb UVA/UVB.
- Antibacterial effect: photo-generated reactive oxygen species damage microbial cell membrane.
- Pigment performance: high refractive index provides hiding power.

Production Process
Indirect process: Zinc ingot → melting → zinc vapor oxidation → cooling collection → grinding & classification → impurity removal → inspection → packaging.
Direct process: Zinc ore/slag → high temperature roasting & oxidation → air separation purification → milling → test → packaging.
Active ZnO: Zinc salt solution reaction → precipitation → washing → calcination activation → milling & sieving.
