8000 Series Aluminum Conductor Cable with 2-core flat concentric design featuring XLPE insulation, steel wire armor, and PVC sheath construction. Rated for 600V applications with 90°C maximum operating temperature.
Applications & Environments
Designed for versatile installation in dry and wet locations, outdoor exposure, and direct burial applications. Suitable for service entrance and power distribution systems.
Cable Construction
- Conductor: 8000 series aluminum alloy compression conductor
- Insulation: Silane cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) XHHW-2 rated
- Color Identification: 2-core: black and white; 3-core: black, white, red; 4-core: black, white, red, blue
- Configuration: Two, three, or four insulated conductors cabled with bare ground wire, reinforced with fiber tape
- Sheath: Grey sun-resistant polyvinyl chloride (PVC)
