Applications & Usage
This multi-core XLPE insulated power cable is designed for both indoor and outdoor installations including:
- Power supply stations and industrial facilities
- Cable ducts, underground conduits, and cable tray systems
- Switchboards and electrical distribution centers
With excellent mechanical protection characteristics, this cable is ideal for applications where mechanical damage is anticipated or additional protection is required.

- Voltage Rating: Uo/U 600V/1000V
- Temperature Range: Fixed installation: -20°C to +90°C
- Minimum Bending Radius: 1.5mm² to 16mm² - 6× overall diameter; 25mm² and above - 8× overall diameter
Cable Construction
- Conductor: Plain annealed stranded circular compacted copper conductor (Class 2)
- Conductor Screen: Extruded cross-linkable semi-conducting compound stress control layer
- Insulation: Extruded cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE)
- Insulation Screen: Extruded cross-linkable semi-conducting compound bonded to insulation
- Metallic Screen: Flat plain copper tape helically applied with overlap
- Filler: Non-hygroscopic polypropylene filler rated for operating temperature
- Bedding: Extruded Polyvinyl chloride (PVC)
- Armouring: Single layer of round galvanized steel wires (armored version)
- Outer Sheath: Extruded Polyvinyl chloride (PVC)
