Cable Construction
- Conductor: Round compacted conductors
- Conductor Shield: Semi-conductive shielding material (below 500mm²: semi-conductive tape + semi-conductive shielding material; 500mm² and above)
- Insulation: Cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE)
- Insulation Shield: Peelable semi-conducting shielding material
- Metal Shield Layer: Copper tape, copper wire (35kV 500mm² and above)
- Filler: Polypropylene (PP) mesh filling rope
- Binder Tape: Non-hygroscopic straps
- Armouring: Steel tape (single core), galvanized steel tape (3 core)
- Outer Sheath: 90°C Polyvinyl chloride (PVC)
