BCC Bare Copper Conductor Stranded 120mm² 19/2.80
High-quality bare copper conductor designed specifically for earthing systems and electrical grounding applications. Features excellent conductivity and corrosion resistance.
Applications
Solid and stranded (classes AA and A) bare copper conductors are suitable for overhead transmission and distribution applications. Stranded conductors with greater flexibility (classes B and C) are ideal for uninsulated hook up, jumpers, and grounds in electrical construction. Soft Drawn copper utilizes unilay construction for enhanced performance.
Construction
Available in bare copper, solid or stranded configurations. Offered in hard, medium-hard, or soft tempers. Stranded conductors are concentrically stranded in hard and medium-hard tempers, while soft-drawn temper utilizes Combination Unilay stranding.

Key Characteristics
Stranded bare soft or annealed copper conductors are suitable for direct burial applications and do not suffer from the inherent corrosion problems associated with aluminum conductors. Copper offers approximately twice the conductivity of aluminum and provides easier termination and joining at splices and joints.
