FAQ
What does "EAC Certificated" mean for this cable?
EAC certification (Eurasian Conformity) confirms compliance with technical regulations of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), ensuring safety and performance for markets like Russia and Kazakhstan.
What insulation and sheath materials are used?
XLPE (Cross-Linked Polyethylene) insulation provides high thermal resistance, while PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride) sheath offers flame retardancy and durability.
What does "STA" stand for in the cable designation?
"STA" typically refers to Steel Wire Armor, providing mechanical protection against crushing and rodent damage.
What voltage rating does this cable support?
Designed for medium voltage (MV) applications, including 11kV, 22kV, and 33kV systems.
Is this cable flame-retardant?
Yes, the PVC sheath and XLPE insulation are engineered to meet flame-retardant standards, reducing fire risk.
What environments is this cable suitable for?
Ideal for underground installations, industrial zones, and urban areas due to its armor and weather-resistant properties.
What certifications does this cable have besides EAC?
May include ISO 9001, CE, and CCC, depending on the manufacturer and region.
How is this cable installed?
Requires proper arc sagging during overhead installation and corrosion-resistant connectors for armor continuity.
