APPLICATION
Single Core AWA (Aluminium Wire Armoured) Medium Voltage Cable is engineered with a lightweight aluminium wire armour layer, delivering excellent mechanical protection, corrosion
resistance and flexible installation performance. Designed for medium voltage systems typically ranging from 3.6/6 kV to 26/35 kV, it is widely deployed in the following critical
scenarios:
- Urban power grids (underground/duct installation)
- Industrial plants (heavy equipment power supply)
- High-rises & data centres (vertical routing)
- Infrastructure (airports, metro, seaports)
- Renewable energy systems (solar/wind grid connection)
CONSTRUCTION
- Conductor: Compacted conductors
- Conductor Shield:Semi conductive shielding material (below 500mm2)
- Insulation: Polyvinyl chloride (PVC)
- Insulation Shield:Peelable semiconducting shielding material
- Metal Shield Layer:Copper Tape
- Filler:Polypropylene(PP) mesh filling rope
- Binder Tape:Non hygroscopic straps
- Armouring:Aluminium Wire
- Outer sheath:90℃ Polyvinyl chloride (PVC) or PE

- Maximum operating temperature of conductor:+90℃
- Operating ambient temperature: -15℃~+55℃
- Cable laying temperature:Not less than 0℃(When the ambient temperature is below 0℃, the cable should be preheated.)
- Minimum Bending Radius: Single core:15D
