APPLICATION

6.3/11kV Medium Voltage Cable with Aluminium Wire and AWA Armoured Flame-retardant Power Cable is designed for industrial power distribution, providing mechanical protection and fire safety in critical environments. The aluminium conductor ensures lightweight and cost-effective power transmission, while the AWA (Armour Wire Armour) layer offers robust mechanical protection against physical damage and environmental stressors. The flame-retardant insulation enhances fire safety, making it suitable for use in hazardous areas such as chemical plants, oil refineries, and other industrial facilities where fire resistance is crucial. This cable is ideal for underground or overhead installations in medium-voltage networks, ensuring reliable and safe power distribution.


CONSTRUCTION


  • Conductor: Compacted conductors
  • Conductor Shield:Semi conductive shielding material (below 500mm 2) 
  • Insulation: Polyvinyl chloride (PVC) 
  • Insulation Shield:Peelable semiconducting shielding material 
  • Metal Shield Layer:Copper Tape 
  • Filler:Polypropylene(PP) mesh filling rope 
  • Binder Tape:Non hygroscopic straps 
  • Armouring:Aluminium Wire 
  • Outer sheath:90 Polyvinyl chloride (PVC) or PE
