APPLICATION 

The 6/10 kV Double GST Armoured Cable is a high-performance medium voltage power cable designed for reliable power transmission and distribution in demanding industrial and infrastructure environments. Featuring double galvanized steel tape (GST) armour, it provides excellent mechanical protection, making it ideal for direct burial and installation in harsh conditions. This cable is widely used in underground power distribution networks, industrial plants, mining operations, tunnel projects, power stations, and substations, as well as urban infrastructure systems. With robust XLPE insulation and a durable PVC outer sheath, it ensures long service life, resistance to moisture and chemicals, and stable electrical performance. It is an ideal solution for applications requiring safety, durability, and efficiency.

CONSTRUCTION 

Conductor: Tightly press circular conductor 

Conductor shield:Semi conductive shielding material 

Earth conductor:Copper multi-wire twisted without insulation or split, consisting of several wires. 

Insulation:Cross-linked polyethylene(XLPE) 

Insulation shielding:Peelable semiconducting shielding material 

Metal shielding layer:Copper Tape 

Filler:Non hygroscopic filling rope 

Armor:Galvanized steel tape 

Inner and outer sheaths:90 ℃ flame retardant polyvinyl chloride(PVC)
