A: While the PVC sheath provides some weather resistance, for direct sunlight/UV exposure, we recommend an outdoor-grade variant with anti-UV properties or additional conduit protection. For direct burial, KVVP2-22 (armored) is required.
Q2: What is the difference between KVVP2 and KVVP?
A: KVVP uses a braided copper mesh screen (80% coverage, flexible), while KVVP2 uses a solid copper tape screen (100% coverage) . KVVP2 offers better protection against low-frequency magnetic interference but is stiffer than KVVP.
Q3: Is the LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) version available?
A: Yes. We produce WDZ-KVVP2 or WDZN-KVVP2 for projects requiring low smoke and halogen-free safety standards.
