Product Description

‌ER321 is an austenitic stainless steel welding wire, mainly used for welding 321 stainless steel and similar materials. 321 stainless steel has excellent intergranular corrosion resistance and high temperature strength by adding titanium (Ti) to stabilize carbon. ER321 welding wire is widely used in chemical, petroleum, food processing, aerospace and other fields.

Features:

Excellent corrosion resistance: Suitable for oxidizing and weakly reducing media.

Anti-intergranular corrosion: The addition of titanium effectively prevents the precipitation of chromium carbide and avoids intergranular corrosion.

High temperature performance: It has good oxidation resistance and mechanical properties at high temperatures (below 800°C).

Welding performance: The welding process is stable, the weld is well formed, and there is less spatter.

Versatility: It is suitable for a variety of welding methods, such as TIG, MIG and SAW.

Welding process

1. Welding method: Applicable to TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas Welding), MIG (Metallic Inert Gas Welding) and SAW (Submerged Arc Welding).

2. Shielding gas: Pure argon or argon-helium mixed gas is recommended for TIG and MIG welding.

3. Preheating and interpass temperature: Preheating is usually not required, and the interpass temperature is recommended to be controlled below 150°C.

4. Post-weld treatment: Post-weld heat treatment is usually not required, but solution treatment can be performed as required in special cases.
