Product Description

ER4043 is a commonly used aluminum-silicon alloy welding wire (Al-Si12) with good fluidity, crack resistance and welding adaptability, and is widely used in the connection of aluminum alloy materials.

Advantages:
​High strength: tensile strength is about 140-160MPa, which is better than pure aluminum of ER1100.
​

Good weldability: good fluidity, suitable for filling gaps; strong resistance to thermal cracking under low heat input.
​

Moderate corrosion resistance: surface corrosion resistance can be improved by anodizing.

​Strong versatility: compatible with a variety of aluminum alloy substrates (such as 1xxx, 3xxx, 5xxx series).
​

Disadvantages:
​Poor conductivity: due to silicon, the conductivity is about 50% of pure aluminum (about 30% IACS).
​

Surface treatment required: direct exposure may oxidize, and a protective layer needs to be sprayed or coated.
