ER49-1 argon arc welding wire is a commonly used argon arc welding (TIG/MIG welding) filling material, mainly used for welding carbon steel and low alloy steel.

Welding process
Welding method: Applicable to TIG welding (tungsten inert gas welding) and MIG welding (metal inert gas welding).

Shielding gas: pure argon or a mixture of argon and a small amount of carbon dioxide.

Welding parameters: Select appropriate current, voltage and welding speed according to the thickness of the workpiece, welding position and process requirements.

Preheating and interlayer temperature: For thick plates or low temperature environments, preheating and control of interlayer temperature are required.

Post-weld heat treatment: Post-weld heat treatment is performed when necessary to eliminate residual stress.
